As a Data and AI Strategist, you’ll support our data strategy and transformation agenda helping shape communities of practice, drive communication and education, deliver key AI and data strategy initiatives, enhance BI governance, and embed responsible AI across RLAM.

About the role

 

  • Deliver on key elements of RLAM data and AI strategy.
  • Act as a point of contact for business‑led Data, AI and automation requests, helping shape requirements, avoid duplication, and identify existing solutions where possible
  • Support the end‑to‑end delivery of Data, AI and Automation use cases, from initial intake and triage through to delivery, handover and benefits tracking.
  • Support the running of the communities of practices, identify experts, collect best practices to create methodology, and run the sessions.
  • Contribute to the communication plans and to the delivery of data and AI fluency plans
  • Respond to the growing demand for GenAI for business intelligence.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and vendors to understand existing and emerging AI capabilities and feed insights into the data and AI strategy and roadmap

 

About you

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science, computer science, statistics, or a STEM related field.
  • Experience in a data-related or AI strategy consulting role, with exposure to AI concepts and technologies desirable.
  • Understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, including machine learning algorithms and LLM
  • Ability to understand problem statements, identify the underlying drivers, and break them down into practical, workable solutions, with a clear understanding of both the why and the how
  • Experience in running stakeholder workshops and use case development
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous or evolving environments, with the ability to work effectively where processes are still being shaped, defined, or iterated
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude towards acquiring new skills and knowledge in AI technologies.
