Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋
Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!
Financial Services at Lightspeed is looking for a Data Analytics Manager to lead the Data function in North America and grow our technical team within the Financial Services organization.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will help us lead, mentor and grow a high-performing data engineering team and cultivate an inclusive, inspiring working culture. You will lead the team in developing the essential infrastructure and artifacts needed for our teams across Lightspeed to gain deeper business insights and drive superior decision-making, particularly around Financial Services.
We are looking for a strategic leader who can get into the weeds: you won't be coding daily, but you bring deep, architect-level data modelling expertise to design scalable systems, review code, and guide the team's technical execution. You have a proven track record of supporting, mentoring, leading and growing a data team, and of delivering reliable, robust and highly available data models & supporting data pipelines. You enjoy problem-solving and removing blockers to the team’s progress and have experience collaborating with Product teams and stakeholders like Finance, Risk and Operations. You are an effective and clear communicator who can direction-set and track team delivery in a distributed, fast-moving and rapidly changing agile environment.
For this role, you should be located in Canada, and able to work within EST/EDT hours. We offer a choice of fully remote, partially remote or fully office-based work environments (in cities with local offices).
