OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
- Ensure food quality, freshness, consistency, and proper portion control at all times.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in accordance with company and HACCP standards.
- Monitor food stock levels, minimize waste, and inform the Chef of excess or low-stock items.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
- Maintain food production records and temperature logs as required.
- Communicate effectively with the culinary and service teams regarding menu specials, guest requirements, and operational needs.
- Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods and contribute to an exceptional guest dining experience.
- Report equipment or maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department.
Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards preferable.
- Passion for culinary excellence and delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
