Dietary Aide

Aramark is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join the Stayner Care Centre team in Stayner, Ontario. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on delivering safe, nutritious meals and courteous service to residents as part of the centre’s food and nutrition team. The position sits with Aramark, the service provider supporting the care centre’s dining program.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities at Stayner Dietary Aide

On a typical day you will help with food preparation, set up dining areas, and deliver meal trays to residents, while upholding strict kitchen sanitation and food safety standards. You’ll work with the Food & Nutrition team and care staff to ensure meals meet each resident’s dietary needs and preferences.

You may use software to record orders and maintain accurate records of meals served. You will protect privacy and dignity by following confidentiality guidelines and by adhering to safety procedures throughout the service process.

Ideal Candidate for Stayner Dietary Aide

• Previous customer service or food service experience, ideally in a healthcare or long-term care setting
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate
• Fluent English; bilingual or multilingual is a plus
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Comfort with technology, including web-based software and a telephone headset; typical typing of 35–45 wpm
• Flexibility and adaptability to change

• Experience in a healthcare environment beyond food service
• Bilingual or multilingual language skills
• Previous customer service or call center experience

Pay and Practical Details for Stayner Dietary Aide

The role pays starting at $18.60 per hour and is a regular, hourly position based at Stayner Care Centre in Stayner, ON. The job is on-site and does not involve travel.

Daily duties include helping with food preparation, setting up dining rooms, delivering meal trays, and upholding strict kitchen sanitation and food safety standards. The role requires the physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs, and to treat residents with warmth while safeguarding confidentiality.
