Fastned is seeking a Digital Discovery Manager to own our digital wayfinding so every EV driver can find a Fastned station, reporting to the Growth Director and collaborating with Product, Sales & Partnerships and Marketing. You will monitor progress, drive continuous improvement, and shape the Digital Wayfinding strategy with senior leaders and government partners. To accelerate this growth, we are looking for a Digital Discovery Manager to help route electric drivers to our industry-leading charging stations . Your role:
Your mission is simple but vital: Make sure every EV driver can find a Fastned station the moment they need one.
In a business tied to physical locations, "being on the map" is everything. You aren't just managing a project; you are the architect of our digital presence. Whether a driver is using Google Maps, their car’s built-in navigation, or following a digital road sign, you ensure the path leads straight to our chargers.
Reporting directly to the Growth Director, you will be the overarching owner of our digital visibility for drivers on the road. You’ll sit at the heart of a cross-functional effort to make our stations impossible to miss, working with Product to ensure perfect data sharing, Sales and Partnerships to close prioritization deals with car manufacturers, and Marketing to drive promotions.
Beyond the day-to-day coordination, you will also represent Fastned on a larger stage, working with governments and industry associations to shape the standards of our young industry. Key responsibilities:
Set the foundation: You will own the foundation for a successful cross-functional digital wayfinding approach. This starts with mapping the industry, setting the standards and developing a KPI framework that is aligned with the wider team. From there, you develop a pragmatic governance and process for continuous alignment, and own a joint roadmap with the wider team.
Online data accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring that all our online location data is accurately displayed, through hands-on monitoring and implementing corrections where needed. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders to ensure the right data input, and with our data brokers and 3rd party platform to ensure the right data output.
Monitoring and Alignment: You will be the central point to ensure that all our stakeholders work together effectively. You will develop a smart monitoring system, with clear KPIs and targets, and an efficient process to ensure we measure success and have continuous alignment and improvement.
Contribute to the strategy: Together with senior leaders and the strategy team, you will own the Digital Wayfinding strategy. You’ll keep track of developments in the market, spot new opportunities, design scalable processes and ensure sales is a key driver in expanding our network and revenue.
Requirements
Who we are looking for:
Experience in a fast growing context location based industry. Since this role is quite unique, we're open for people with a variety of backgrounds. We're keen to hear your angle on why you're the best fit for making this endeavor a success.
Good understanding of digital navigation, maps, or wayfinding systems is a huge plus.
You are comfortable with project management and data-driven decision-making to ensure our online presence is flawless.
Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to influence senior management and coordinate diverse, cross-functional teams.
Fluency in English and cultural awareness to navigate various European markets. Additional European languages are considered a plus.
A genuine passion for sustainability and a desire to be a pioneer in the electric mobility revolution.
