We are seeking a Digital Integration Solution Engineer to join our Regional Services Business Unit.
Our Digital Integration Solutions team has 20+ years of experience deploying and supporting mission-critical digital power management software for data centers, industrial sites, and commercial buildings across EMEA.
In this role, you will be at the heart of that work — designing, deploying, and supporting the systems that keep critical infrastructure running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Propose
- Design technical solutions for EPMS, DCIM, and PSA projects across EMEA, including system architecture, topology drawings, hardware BOMs, project schedules, and detailed proposal documentation (both budgetary and binding).
Implement & Deploy
- Implement and deploy power management and mission-critical monitoring systems (Brightlayer, Foreseer, Power Xpert, PowerNet, and next-generation platforms), as well as EPMS, SCADA, and Energy Management solutions across data centers, industrial sites, and commercial buildings.
- Define deployment methodologies (work method statements, validation criteria) and coordinate site execution by local teams, third parties, or directly.
Support & Consult
- Own L3 software support escalations from the central technical support team. Provide applied engineering consultation across system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, and training.
Collaborate & Standardize
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering to manage scope variations, identify technical risks, propose mitigations, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Produce and validate engineering documentation with internal teams and external partners.
- Drive knowledge sharing through technical presentations and contribute to the standardization of deliverables, processes, and tools within the System Integration Services team.
Grow
- Invest in your professional development through Eaton University, third-party training, and required safety courses.
- Travel as needed for site visits, customer meetings, and project execution.
Qualifications:
Essential
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Power Management, Automation, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience with power management systems, ideally within data centre environments.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, power quality meters, protective relays, and EPMS/DCIM platforms.
- Software, networking, and protocols: experience with Windows/Linux, databases, Serial/Ethernet/Fibre networking, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP); able to troubleshoot hardware and interfaces end-to-end.
- Hands-on diagnostic skills, including the use of test equipment, fault-finding, and repair of automation and power management systems.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural teams.
- Self-driven and well-organised, with the ability to solve complex problems independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong safety mindset, with the confidence to challenge unsafe practices and demonstrate high personal integrity.
- Understanding of PLC, HMI, and IED programming, as well as logic control concepts.
Nice to Have
- Experience with power system automation software or Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solutions.
