At the Australian Trade Training College, we believe trades are the backbone of our society and we’re on a mission to empower students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their trade careers. Due to recent growth, we are in need of engaging, motivating Trainers to continue the great work in developing our future leaders in trade. As the demand for Industry Apprentices continues to grow, opportunities within Australian Trade Training College are abound.

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Trainer who is committed and passionate about making a difference in the education of secondary school students. This position will support the delivery of the 22586VIC Certificate II in Integrated Technologies (Pre-vocational) with a focus on robotics and the internet of things. Previous training experience is preferred. 

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Deliver training and assessment in the 22586VIC Certificate II in Integrated Technologies (Pre-vocational)
  • Develop effective working relationships with Students and Schools
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of RTO programs
  • Monitor training and ensure timely progression of Students through the course
  • Maintain a high level of compliance

 What you will bring

  • RTO training experience and Trade qualification/s in IT or Robotics

Strong background in coding, automation and robotics

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Ability to engage, inspire and support Students throughout their learning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Reasonable level of computer skills

Successful applicants must be eligible to work in Australia. A current Working with Children Blue Card and National Police Check is required and can be arranged for the suitable candidate.
