Electrical Mentor at Australian Trade Training College, onsite Brendale, QLD, full time. You’ll work with a qualified Trade Trainer to deliver training and set a path to Trainer after completing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, while paid as a Mentor. Core duties include guiding students to milestones, assisting with practical activities, keeping the training area safe, and supporting student management. What matters most: an Electrical trade qualification, ability to engage learners, willingness to complete the Cert IV, clear communication and basic computer skills, and eligibility to work in Australia with Blue Card, National Police check, and references. Electrical Mentor

Do you consider yourself a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mentor with an Electrical trade background? In this role you'll be supported to work alongside a qualified Trade Trainer and assist with the delivery of high-quality training.

This is a role with a direct career path to equip you to become a fully qualified Trainer with the completion of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment while being paid as a full time Mentor. 

Key accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Guide students to achieve training milestones and goals
• Assist students with practical activities
• Maintain the training area - clean, tidy and safe
• Ensure all equipment is in good operational condition
• Assist Trainer with Student management

Skills you need to be successful:

• Trade qualification in the Electrical industry
• Ability to engage, inspire and support students throughout their learning
• Desire to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Good written and verbal communication
• Basic level of computer operating skills
