We’re looking for a Business Development Director to join our New Zealand team, ideally  located in either Auckland, New Plymouth or Wellington.

Reporting to our Managing Director and being a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, as our Business Development Director you’ll head up our sales function and be responsible for catalysing growth across our entire business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior sales professional with a strong engineering,  project management or construction background to join our mission to be the leading project delivery company in Aotearoa.

We love solving complex problems and get involved at the first stages of engineering and consulting to the last stages of installation and commissioning.

The Role Responsibilities Include

  • Create & implement business strategies to facilitate company growth.
  • Identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers.
  • Identify, bid and secure opportunities with our existing, target and new customers.
  • Utilise our strong engineering, project delivery and construction teams to sell services to customers.
  • Location is flexible but with a preference to be located in either Auckland, New Plymouth, or Wellington.

What You’ll Bring

  • A strong understanding of the New Zealand engineering & contracting market in the energy, water, and industrial sectors
  • A developed customer network across both islands.
  • A tertiary qualification.
  • Extensive business development experience in a related field, with project delivery exposure highly desirable.
  • Ability to work at C-suite level.
  • Proven, successful bid and proposal participation.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to persuade and influence others during presentations.
  • Must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to be considered.
