CPKC seeks a Director Track and Structures in Thunder Bay, Ontario, onsite with 70 to 80 percent travel, to ensure safe, reliable track infrastructure. You will drive safety and compliance, deliver capital planning priorities, and foster cross-functional collaboration while coaching direct reports, leading incident investigations, and managing emergency responses. Requirements include an engineering degree (or equivalent railway experience), 10 years in industry or five years railway maintenance, project management and leadership and communication skills. As Director Track and Structures, you will ensure safe, reliable infrastructure and cost-effective engineering services for all track assets on the geographic territory to permit the safe and efficient train operation. You will directly provide or ensure professional oversight and compliance with corporate policy and regulatory/engineering standards.

Management Conductor Program
Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
