Trents in Alexandra, part of Foodstuffs South Island, seeks a Driver / Storeperson to deliver scheduled orders, load and unload safely, keep the vehicle tidy, and assist with warehouse duties when not driving. You’ll perform inwards goods checks and ensure consignments are signed. The role requires a full, clean NZ driver’s license, forklift license, and strong customer service, attention to detail, communication, and computer skills. About the role:

• Delivery to Foodstuffs and Trents customers scheduled orders on specific days and times.
• Keep vehicle clean and tidy
• Load and unload vehicles safely
• Ensure RUC and COF and licenses, and maintenance of vehicle is up to date and any defects reported to your manager
• Accuracy with picking orders
• Inwards goods checking of orders
• Ensure consignments are checked and signed for
• Keeping warehouse environment tidy
• Other duties as requested by the Branch Manager or Supervisor – When not driving it is expected that this role will assist with general warehouse duties.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Full, current, clean New Zealand drivers’ licence
• Forklift Licence
• Customer service experience and the ability to think on your feet to offer solutions
• Attention to detail
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills
