The Opportunity

Are you looking to build a career operating heavy machinery in a fast-paced port environment?

We have an exciting opportunity for an ECH Driver to join out team at Port of Auckland's Fergusson Terminal. This role is ideal for someone with forklift operating experience who wants to develop their skills and work towards becoming a fully competent Empty Container Handler (ECH) Driver.

This is an operational role that supports a 24/7 port environment, so you must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts as required

You will receive training and support while learning to safely move, stack, load and unload shipping containers in a critical operational environment. Working alongside experienced operators, you'll develop the skills required to operate specialised container handling equipment while contributing to the smooth and efficient movement of containers through the terminal.

What you'll Bring

  • OSH Forklift Certificate (Preferred)
  • Full Driver Licence
  • F Endorsement (Preferred)
  • Heavy Mobile Plant Operating Experience Preferred
  • Forklift operating experience is required
  • Strong communication skills.
