The Y NSW is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Educator in Georges Hall to design and lead engaging activities for children aged 5–12, foster a safe inclusive environment, build strong relationships with kids, families and the team, organise themed days and holiday programs, support homework time, lead sports and outdoor play, and keep clear family communications and records. You’ll need qualifications in Early Childhood or Education, a current Working with Children Check, First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain), and a genuine passion for school‑aged children, plus creativity, enthusiasm, teamwork and a growth mindset. Availability Monday to Friday split shifts 7:00am–9:00am and 2:00pm–6:00pm. Tip: tailor your CV, highlight relevant certifications, demonstrate impact with examples, and confirm your WCC and First Aid status.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Create and run engaging activities that children love
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for kids aged 5–12
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families and your team
  • Organise themed days, special events and holiday programs
  • Support homework time with encouragement and care
  • Lead sports, games, creative projects and outdoor play
  • Maintain clear communication with families and accurate records
  • Work collaboratively to enhance the program experience

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you bring:

  • Qualifications in Early Childhood, Education or a related field
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • A genuine passion for supporting school-aged children
  • Creativity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability for Monday to Friday split shifts: 7:00am–9:00am and 2:00pm–6:00pm
