Advice for applicants
Lead with your current degree track and GPA on your resume, since Skyworks is looking for candidates pursuing Electrical, Chemical, or Systems Engineering with a solid academic record.
Show concrete examples of how you’ve used Altium, ADS, AWR, Cadence/Allegro, and SolidWorks in real projects, with a short note on the outcome and any manufacturing or quality improvements you achieved.
Be ready to discuss hands-on experiences that relate to IPC 6011 and 6012, PCB stack-up definitions, and mechanical tolerances, and connect those experiences to how you would contribute to high‑speed, power and RF board design at Skyworks.
Ask a focused question about the team’s current priorities in high‑performance analog design, or how the group translates a design into manufacturing and ECN/ECR documentation, to show you’ve done your homework and are thinking about real impact.
