Advice for applicants

Place the exact education requirement, your two-year associate degree or military electronics training, front and center on your resume, in the education section, so it’s easy to spot.

When you describe your background, include concrete examples of how you interpreted electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, and how you used tool data to drive improvements that reduced repetitive tool breakdowns.

Be ready to talk about times you collaborated with engineers to design equipment improvements, and how you communicated machine status in daily pass-downs and through written updates across shifts.

Ask about the specific toolset they rely on and what a successful first 90 days look like on the Ion Mill and Implant lines, for instance asking how projects with Veeco Ion Mill or Axcelis 8250 Implant are prioritized and measured.
