Electric Tradesperson role with Civmec in Eneabba, WA, for the Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery Project, a long-term SMPE&I installation role on a 12-18 month program, 2:1 Bus-In Bus-Out (BIBO). Civmec is proud to be supporting Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery Project in collaboration with Iluka Resources with a further package of work for the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation (SMPE&I) installation works across the facility. As Australia’s first fully integrated rare earths refinery, this milestone development is driving innovation—and we’re building a skilled team to help bring it to life.

The Eneabba facility processes monazite concentrate from Iluka’s mineral sands operations, with production having commenced in 2026.

We’re currently seeking experienced Electrical Tradespersons to join our Construction division on a long‑term project. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a major infrastructure build in WA’s Mid‑West.

Location: Eneabba, WA (Mid West Region) 
Roster: 2:1 Bus-In Bus-Out (BIBO) Duration: 12-18 Months

The Role

    • Cable ladder installation
    • Power, control and instrumentation cable installation
    • Cable terminations
    • Cable testing and fault finding
    • Installation of electrical equipment and enclosures
    • Distribution Board (DB) installation and wiring
    • Instrumentation installation, termination and testing
    • Interpret electrical drawings and schematics
    • Assist with commissioning and troubleshooting activities

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

      • Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Electrical
      • Valid WA Electrical Licence
      • Current CPR/LVR and First Aid Certification
      • Current High risk elevating work platform license
      • Current Drivers Licence
      • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
      • Previous construction experience
      • Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
