Australian Trade Training College is looking for a hands-on Electrical Trainer and Assessor to train and assess Certificate II and III in Electrical across classrooms and simulated environments, build relationships with students and employers, and drive program improvement. This full-time onsite role in Brendale offers a competitive salary, growth potential, a supportive team, and all tools of the trade. It requires electrical industry experience and a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent). You will deliver engaging hands-on sessions, monitor apprentice training plans, and support learners from diverse backgrounds. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Training and assessing the Certificate II and III in Electrical, post trade competencies and skill sets in the classroom and simulated work environment
  • Develop effective working relationships with students and employers whilst mentoring and training
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of RTO programs
  • Monitor apprentice training plans and ensure timely progression of our students through their courses
  • Delivering engaging, hands-on training and assessment in a supportive environment

What You Will Bring

  • Hands-on industry experience in all aspects of electrical work
  • Qualified in TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  • Passion for mentoring and helping others succeed - inspire and support students throughout their learning
  • Strong communication and people-focused skills - able to engage students of all backgrounds
  • Adaptability — able to modify training materials to suit different learning styles
  • Reasonable level of computer skills
