Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC, part of the Ghobash Group, seeks a hands-on Electrician for a full-time onsite role in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will perform electrical installations, inspections and maintenance per project standards and assist the Electrical Engineer during installation, testing and commissioning on ADNOC and Tier 1/2 EPC oil and gas projects. Key duties include installing new or modified equipment, wiring per approved drawings, conducting site surveys with sketches, reading method statements, handling tools safely, preparing material lists and timesheets, and supporting additional duties as required. ITI qualification and 3-5 years experience are required. Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To perform electrical installations, inspections and repair/maintenance as per the project requirement by following standards and codes.
  • To assist Electrical Engineer during electrical installation, testing & commissioning activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Installation of new or modified electrical equipment’s.
  • Electrical wiring as per the approved schematic drawings by avoiding unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring
  • Conducting the site survey for the installation, cable laying and other electrical activities and prepare and provide the survey report with the sketches.
  • Read and understand the method statements, electrical drawings, layouts and wiring diagrams.
  • Deft at all electrical equipment, materials, tools and test equipment’s handling.
  • Analyse and prepare list of material and tools required at site.
  • Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of equipment and tools
  • To prepare the time sheets and work reports.
  • To undertake any other duties as appropriate within their job purpose, as required by their line Engineer.
