OceanaGold is seeking an Environmental Advisor for the Macraes operation in Otago, NZ. This full time onsite role follows a 5 on 2 off and 4 on 3 off roster, 7:00am to 4:30pm, and focuses on coordinating environmental support, ensuring regulatory and consent compliance, and advising site projects. Ideal candidates hold a tertiary qualification in Environmental or Earth Sciences, with 5+ years post grad experience including at least 3 years in regulatory monitoring, mining experience, and skills in biodiversity, water management and hazardous substances. Proficiency in NZ RMA, Wildlife Act, ISO 14001, ArcGIS/QGIS, and MS Office is expected. Applications close 26 Feb 2026; shortlisting starts immediately. This role ensures compliance with statutory acts, regulations, consent conditions and company environmental standards, whilst providing environmental, site and consent knowledge across the mine site.
