Main goal

The EURO Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) its activities, especially the preparation, organisation and tracking of coordination forums and meetings to ensure alignment and continuity across EURO 2028.

Key responsibilities

  • Organising and coordinating meetings (e.g. operations group meetings, director and chief meetings), tracking actions and decisions and ensuring the smooth flow of information between all project members
  • Preparing and consolidating input for project steering reports and senior management updates
  • Preparing management presentations and executive summaries based on the input from coordination forums
  • Ensuring that the same level of information is shared at all coordination meetings and developing a standardised, cross-functional format and agenda to align all EURO 2028 meetings
  • Helping to track timelines and deliverables across each project to ensure that all stakeholders remain on track, identifying delays and reporting them to the PMO team
  • Supporting the coordination of the road map and project milestones, identifying dependencies and clustering activities for effective planning
  • Organising monthly one-on-one status meetings with project leaders to track progress and facilitate decision-making when required
  • Supporting wider EURO 2028 Project Office activities whenever necessary

Requirements

Experience:

  • more than 3 years of experience in business administration, project management or a related field
  • more than 3 years of experience in sports/ event management is an asset

Education:

  • Bachelor's in business administration or a related field

Languages:

  • English / Proficient

Other requirements:

  • Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
  • Very good knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Strong data visualisation and data interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Project)
  • Affinity for data
