Foodstuffs South Island is seeking an Evening Supervisor / Duty Manager for Rangiora to lead a team and ensure smooth store operations while delivering outstanding customer service. This permanent part-time role offers Sunday 2pm to 9pm and Friday 4:30pm to 9:30pm shifts, with duties including stock control, product knowledge, inward goods procedures, and adherence to food safety and health and safety policies; forklift license is preferred or willing to obtain one. The right candidate communicates well, works collaboratively, stays physically fit for lifting and long hours, and can multitask under time pressure. The responsibilities of these positions include:

• Delivering excellent Customer Service
• Ability to lead and supervise a team
• Stocking shelves, working stock in storeroom, keeping stock organized
• Having knowledge about our products and services
• Following the correct Inwards good procedures
• Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety policies
• Forklift license or be willing to get one

Personal attributes required are:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well with a team
• Physical fitness for either lifting crates and boxes and standing for long periods of time
• Ability to multi-task and also complete tasks within the required timeframes
• Motivation to learn new skills
• A positive work ethic and attitude
