Miral Destinations is seeking an Events Sales Manager to aggressively target corporate and government business in the UAE, manage accounts in our CRM, and lead indoor and outdoor sales activities plus client meetings to hit revenue targets. The role requires 5+ years selling to corporates and government entities, a UAE driver’s license, excellent English, deep knowledge of the UAE travel trade and culture, and outstanding negotiation and stakeholder-management skills; hospitality or events experience is a plus. New Opportunities 

  • Aggressively target the solicitation of business from key market segments: Corporate & Government to achieve annual revenue targets.

  • Facilitating indoor and outdoor sales activities as well as external client meetings.

  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers, industry organizations to enable future bookings. Activities include individual sales calls, prospective client entertainment, FAM trips, etc.

  • Contracting and managing accounts through our CRM system, while recording and tracking all opportunities in the system.

  • Identify new business partners for the company

Action Plans

  • Formulate and implement set action plan and strategy for the assigned segment to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.

  • Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.

  • Communicate all sales campaigns to relevant customers and obtain proof of commitment.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for the Head of Sales – Domestic through consolidated and analyzed action summaries as well as sales tracking reports.

Manage portfolio

  • Develop and Manage portfolio of active and prospect Corporate & Government accounts.

  • Resolves order and inventory problems by investigating data and history thus identifying alternate means for filling requests and notifying the team and customers.

  • Resolves promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices; forwarding resolution to Head of Sales – Domestic

  • Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information and answering questions.

  • Maintains customer database by inputting customer profile and updates.

Achieving Targets

  • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

  • Manages assigned geographic sales area or market or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.

  • Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.

  • Performs sales activities on major corporate accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Head of Sales – Domestic

  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.

Trainings

  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.

  • Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top decision-makers.

Coaching and conducting appraisals for direct reports.

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree / diploma 

  • 5+ years of work experience with Corporates & Government Clients, Holdings, Events companies

  • UAE Driver License

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE domestic travel trade, schools, government, and corporate ecosystems.

  • Deep understanding of UAE culture, values, traditions, and business etiquette.

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building capability.

  • Ability to analyze performance data and prepare insightful reports.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree

7-8+ years of proven sales work experience in/or within the entertainment industry, hotels & hospitality  

  • Arabic speaker, and fluency in any other foreign language 
  • Experience in Business Development
  • Work experience in a customer-facing environment, such as retail or hospitality
