Mercedes AMG HPP seeks a Facilities Engineering Placement in Brixworth, onsite role spanning the project management cycle from business case to delivering mechanical and electrical systems and sustainability initiatives. You’ll have autonomy to troubleshoot and propose value-added solutions under tight deadlines and own sustainability work. Standout candidates demonstrate a curious, driven mindset, a 2:1 or higher in a relevant degree, and experience handling large data sets with clear calculations. As a Facilities Placement Student you will have exposure to the entire project management process, including the creation and justification of business cases and the implementation of mechanical and electrical systems, civils and controls. You will be given autonomy to troubleshoot, propose and deliver appropriate, value-added solutions within tight deadlines. You will have ownership of specific sustainability projects from project plan creation through to the distribution of the project and you will assist managers in the analysis of utility data which will be centric to project delivery.

What do we need from you?

• A curious, tenacious and driven individual with a hunger to work in a fast paced environment
• To be on track for a 2:1 or above in a relevant degree for example Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural Engineering, Engineering Mathematics or Statistics.
• Previous experience working with large bodies of data as well as recording and presenting calculations and findings.
• A collaborative style which will enable you to effectively challenge convention, offering solutions that are resourceful and appropriate
• A pride in the quality of the projects you deliver, ensuring that every detail is considered and presented in a methodical, conscientious and professional manner
• Great organisational skills with the ability to deliver within strict deadlines
• Enthusiasm and a genuine passion for what we do
• A willingness to go the extra mile to help the team succeed
