Position Summary

Precision Aerospace, LLC is seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead facility operations, equipment reliability, and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) programs within our aerospace manufacturing environment. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership to ensure production readiness, regulatory compliance, asset longevity, and a strong culture of safety and accountability.

The Facilities & Maintenance Manager serves as a key operational leader, partnering with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain to support uninterrupted production while driving continuous improvement across facilities, maintenance systems, and workplace safety.



Key Responsibilities & Expectations


Maintenance & Facilities Management

  • Lead and oversee all facility, equipment, and preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum uptime and production efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for CNC machinery and facility systems.
  • Establish maintenance priorities, schedules, and resource allocation aligned with production demands.
  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance records.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure work quality, safety compliance, and cost control.
  • Analyze equipment performance, downtime trends, and failure modes to drive reliability improvements.


Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Leadership

  • Own and champion facility-level Health, Safety & Environmental compliance, including OSHA, EPA, and internal safety standards.
  • Lead safety programs, audits, inspections, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with chemical handling, waste management, environmental controls, and emergency response procedures.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through training, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership to investigate incidents, implement root-cause corrective actions, and reduce risk exposure.


Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to support high performance, accountability, and skills growth.
  • Set expectations, provide performance feedback, and ensure alignment with company goals and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for facility systems, equipment reliability, and safety considerations.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical guidance for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and CNC equipment issues.
  • Oversee facility infrastructure including HVAC, utilities, lighting, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and engineering documentation.
  • Ensure timely response to emergency maintenance situations and operational disruptions.


Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment required.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of CNC machine operation and maintenance.
  • Strong industrial mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, utilities, and building maintenance.
  • Familiarity with welding, fabrication, cutting, and general industrial repair preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of machine tool field service experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor in a fast-paced, regulated environment.


Physical Requirements

  • Must wear required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and appropriate footwear.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs throughout the workday.
  • Position requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, and physical exertion for extended periods.
