Tips to help you stand out

Start your resume with your EL/PL litigation experience, especially any cases you handled from start to finish and the value bracket up to £25,000. Highlight client-facing work, witness preparation, and how you supported case progression under supervision.

Show how you prove you have the must-have skills: describe a specific case where you used a case management system to move a file forward, how you prioritized competing deadlines, and a detail-oriented moment where you caught an error before it impacted the outcome.

Be ready to talk through interviews about the kinds of disclosures you’ve handled, how you compile witness statements, and how you’ve collaborated with other team members to deliver strong client service under the Keoghs competency framework.

Ask a concrete question about the role’s pace and expectations, for example: what does success look like in the first 90 days when handling fast-track EL/PL matters, and how does the team measure ongoing progress to ensure seamless delivery to clients?
