This is one year part time or full time fellowship in Cardiac EP (2x 0.5 FTE). There are two positions available.

This exciting position offers training in all aspects of electrophysiology (EP studies, SVT, VT, atrial fibrillation and complex arrhythmias). The Alfred is one of the highest volume EP public hospital centres in Australia. The individual will be expected to lead research and quality improvement in all aspects of heart rhythm managment at the Alfred. The candidate will be responsible in preparing patients for electrophysiology procedures, liasing with the inpatient service regarding heart rhythms, teaching advanced trainees and participating in the outpatient clinic. There will be an expectation of supporting an Alfred affiliated regional clinic.
Preference will be given to candidates who are pursuing a PhD.

Applicants must have completed at least three years of Advanced Training in Clinical Cardiology and have completed their FRACP (Part 2) or a recognized equivalent. Candidates will need AHPRA registration.
