In addition, you’ll prepare and maintain freight, dispatch and export documentation and assist with container loading and freight preparation activities, contributing to accurate records and timely shipments. A key part of the role is keeping inventory records and audit trails up to date, and working closely with transport providers and internal teams to meet order deadlines while adhering to warehouse, safety and quality requirements.

Tips For Applicants For The FG Storeman Role

Put your current Open Driver's Licence and LF Forklift Licence at the top of your resume, and highlight experience with reach forklifts and operating in a warehouse or logistics setting. This is a role that values hands-on capability and licenced operation, so make those credentials easy to spot.

When you describe your experience, focus on how you have handled inventory transactions and warehouse system workflows. Include concrete examples of using SAP or a similar warehouse management system and working with RF scanning to move goods or manage stock movements, as well as preparing freight, dispatch or inventory documentation.

Be ready to discuss how you stay accurate under pressure and how you ensure safety and quality in daily tasks. You may be asked about container loading or freight preparation activities, so have a concrete example of a process you’ve owned or improved, and describe how you coordinate with transport providers to meet timelines.

Ask about the structure of the 9-day fortnight, how overtime is scheduled and what training or progression paths exist within Bayer Crop Science. A thoughtful question about team collaboration, freight workflows or compliance with DG/IATA standards shows you’re thinking about how this role operates within the wider supply chain.
