Job Overview

This role will provide critical support and cross-functional partnership across Finance, Commercial, Strategy, FSC, Operations, and Customer Service. This individual will play a key role in driving working capital performance, supporting commercial execution, and enabling data-driven decision-making across customer-facing and strategic initiatives

Job Requirements

Business Partnership & Commercial Support

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to FSC, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to drive resolution of past-due balances and improve DSO.
  • Lead cross-functional escalation efforts to resolve payment disputes, credit holds, and high-risk AR exposures.
  • Develop deep understanding of key customers/OEMs, commercial agreements, and business drivers to support informed decision-making.
  • Review and monitor customer payment terms, credit limits, and AR exposure in alignment with accounting controls and compliance standards.

Financial Performance & Analytics

  • Analyze AR performance, aging trends, and past-due metrics; provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Perform ad-hoc bookings, billings, and working capital analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare clear variance analysis, bridges, and executive-ready commentary highlighting key drivers and risks.
  • Support budgets and forecasts for assigned areas including bookings, AR, DSO, and working capital.

Operational & Close Support

  • Assist with month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries and related reporting.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with internal controls.

Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify process gaps and drive sustainable improvements across AR and commercial finance workflows.
  • Apply TE Operating Advantage – Finance (TEOA-F) principles to streamline processes, improve reporting transparency, and enhance cross-functional accountability.

 

What your background should look like

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Master’s Degree / MBA preferred
  • 3+years of experience in financial accounting or analysis in a manufacturing environment 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Package, possessing advanced Excel skills
  • SAP R/3 or other ERP System knowledge
  • Must be proficient in the English language
