What You’ll Do

The Inventory & RMA Operations Specialist is responsible for managing insurance claims, inventory control, RMA processes, and sample ownership while ensuring accurate reporting and cross-functional coordination. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Bilingual communication in English and Korean is required to support DSA-related operations, including RMA, sample management, and customer registration.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose headquarters in alignment with Samsung Semiconductor Work policy
 

Reports to: Director General Accounting

Key Responsibilities

  • Insurance Claims Management
    • File and manage insurance claims with Aon and other providers.
    • Track claim status and ensure timely resolution and documentation.
    • Oversee scrap and physical inventory for all DSA parts.
  • Scrap & Physical Inventory Management
    • Manage PUMI processes, scrap disposal, validation, and COD activities.
    • Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
  • RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Management
    • Process and manage returns, including POS and DSK batch postings.
    • Prepare estimates and track RMA status through completion.
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing.
  • Aging Inventory Management
    • Generate aging inventory reports and perform monthly reconciliations.
    • Develop and execute inventory depletion plans.
    • Collaborate with Sales and Planning teams to address excess or aging stock.
  • Sample Ownership & Management
    • Lead transition of sample management from ITG.
    • Manage sample budgeting, approval workflows, and PP coordination.
    • Conduct inventory audits and maintain in-house tracking systems.
    • Track sample allocation by customer and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Month-End & Post Month-End Reporting
    • Run closing, accrual, and inactive inventory reports.
    • Support month-end reconciliation and financial reporting requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Collaborate effectively across all levels of the support team.
    • Communicate fluently in English and Korean to coordinate with DSA on RMA, sample management, customer registration issues, and reporting needs.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, RMA processing, or operations support.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience with inventory systems and ERP platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred
