About the position

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our Financial Reporting team. You will primarily maintain the books and records for the firm’s European businesses and prepare our monthly and annual financial statements in conjunction with accounting teams in the region and globally.

Additional responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Preparing or reviewing various accounting reconciliations and financial schedules that support the financial statements
  • Collaborating with outside auditors and advisors, interpreting GAAP,  and documenting accounting policies and internal controls
  • Working closely with other team members, including our accounting-specific Technology team, to improve and automate processes

About you

  • Have a bachelor’s degree
  • An ACA or equivalent with 1-2 years of post-qualified experience in an accounting role
  • Experienced with preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
  • Have a solid understanding of FRS 102 and/or IFRS; knowledge of U.S. GAAP is desired but not required
  • Organised with great communication skills; able to build strong collaborative relationships across various groups within the firm
  • Self-motivated to improve processes where possible
  • Have excellent time management skills; able to handle competing priorities and work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Have strong analytical and critical thinking skills; detail-oriented with a “can-do” attitude when resolving issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Preferably familiar with regulatory regimes
  • Experience with using Workday (Financial Data Model) is a plus
  • Fluent in English
