Advice for applicants
Lead your resume with your relevant leadership and KPI impact. Highlight 12+ months of sports or fashion retail experience, your supervisory role, and concrete results you helped the store achieve, ideally using numbers to illustrate progress.
When you describe your must-have skills, back them with real stories. Talk about times you coached teammates to improve customer service, increased on-floor coverage, or used KPI data to shift selling strategies and raise conversion or average transaction value.
Prepare for interviews with STAR-style examples that cover how you maintain brand standards, manage stock deliveries and stock takes, or handle cash and opening/closing routines. Share specifics about how you kept the store safe, clean, and aligned with Visual Merchandising guidelines while still delivering a great customer experience.
Finally, consider a thoughtful question to ask the interviewer. A good one is how the store measures floor performance and how the Floor Manager collaborates with the Store Manager to drive results, plus what opportunities exist to participate in adidas events or initiatives beyond daily duties. This shows you’re thinking about impact, growth, and the broader adidas ecosystem.
