Vintage Cash Cow is looking for a French-speaking Customer Experience Agent to join its EU Customer Experience team in Duiven, Netherlands. This is a full-time, onsite position reporting to the French CX Team Lead, with a fixed annual compensation of €34,128 / year. The role sits at the heart of customer care, and is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, speaking French, and solving problems with care.

The company operates a platform for pre-loved items and aims to keep the experience simple, transparent and rewarding. The Customer Experience team supports European customers from a hub near Arnhem, handling inquiries across phone, email and digital channels. They work closely with Operations and the warehouse to make each customer journey as smooth and joined-up as possible.

In this role you’ll be a reliable, customer-focused point of contact. You’ll talk with customers across inbound, outbound and digital channels, explain next steps clearly, and own issues through to a satisfactory resolution. This isn’t about sticking to a script or rushing through conversations; it’s about combining solid customer service with good judgment, clear communication and the confidence to find the right path forward. Your insights from daily conversations will help the team spot patterns and drive improvements that matter to customers and colleagues alike.

Your daily rhythm in the EU CX hub

On a typical day you’ll support customers across phone, email and other digital channels as they navigate their journey with the platform. You’ll handle a mix of inquiries, updates and follow-ups, tailoring your communication to each person and situation so they know what to expect. When things don’t go as planned, you’ll listen carefully, take ownership and work to resolve the issue with fairness and speed, keeping affected customers informed every step of the way.

Across conversations you’ll build trust by delivering accurate, timely and genuinely helpful information, and you’ll know when to tackle a problem yourself or escalate to the right teammate. You’ll stay coordinated with colleagues in Customer Experience, Operations and the warehouse to ensure customer journeys stay joined up and efficient, using customer feedback to highlight opportunities for improvement.

Attention to detail matters here: you’ll balance pace with accuracy, maintain clear records of interactions, and use the company’s systems confidently to move customer journeys along. You’ll also collaborate with your Team Lead and other teams, sharing insights from customer feedback and offering ideas that could simplify processes for customers and colleagues alike.

Tips to help your application stand out

Lead your resume with your customer-facing experience in roles like service, contact centres, sales, retail or hospitality, and include one concrete example where you resolved a customer issue at first contact.

When you describe your skills, highlight clear, adaptable communication and a situation where you handled a difficult conversation with calm and professionalism, showing how you found a constructive resolution.

Prepare for questions about handling both inbound and outbound conversations across phone, email and digital channels, and be ready to talk about how you stay organized and keep customers informed while issues are investigated.

Consider asking about how customer feedback is gathered and used to improve the service, and what recent changes have been driven by recurring themes from customers. This shows you’re thinking about lasting improvements, not just individual cases.
