Mechanical BIM Modeler – Job Description
A Mechanical BIM Modeler is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining detailed 3D mechanical models for building projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. The role involves modeling HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems in accordance with project requirements, design standards, and coordination needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify 3D BIM models for mechanical systems using software such as Autodesk Revit.

Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings from BIM models.

Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes using coordination tools such as Navisworks.

Ensure models comply with project specifications, BIM standards, and client requirements.

Generate schedules, quantities, and material take-offs from BIM models.

Participate in design review and coordination meetings.

Maintain model accuracy and update models based on design revisions and site requirements.

Support project teams with technical documentation and BIM-related deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
