Pela Case is seeking a Fulfillment Specialist for their Kelowna Sustainability Studio to ensure timely, cost‑effective outbound shipments while upholding zero waste, sustainable practices. The Opportunity: 

The mission of the Fulfillment Specialist is to assist and ensure all outbound shipments are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner.  Working from our Kelowna Sustainability Studio (KSS), you will be an integral part of a manufacturing team that creates best-in-market finished goods that ship directly to customers and business partners.

In this position, you will be proficient in shipping and warehousing practices, while being a self-starter who thrives in an environment of continuous improvement and problem-solving. Teamwork and adaptability will be critical to your success. Meeting deadlines and delivering on promises nurtures your soul. Our facility is located on Stremel Rd. conveniently near a Kelowna Public Transit bus stop. 

We have the following shift time available:

• Monday to Friday - 2:30 pm to 11:00pm

The Responsibilities: 

• Process and ship orders accurately, quickly and according to Pela’s standards.
• Assemble product packaging, prepare packages & labels for shipping.
• Sort and organize stock and supplies.
• Organize daily shipments with each carrier.
• Maintain a warehouse including putting away stock, sweeping, organizing supplies, and garbage disposal.
• Perform inventory counts on finished goods and packing materials. 
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
• MagSafe application for bulk case orders.
• Assemble retail packaging for bulk shipping.
• Cross training for operating CNC Routers.
• Assist others as necessary.
• Ensure safe operation of all equipment, and follow all protocols for warehouse safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to learn procedures and add efficiency to processes
• Has shipping experience and is familiar with various couriers
• Knowledge of Google Suite and ShipHero preferred
• Works well independently, a self-starter
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.

Rate: $20/hour
