Job Summary
Al Marwan Group is seeking a General Accountant with 4-6 years of accounting experience in the UAE construction /heavy machinery or real estate industry. The ideal candidate must be with a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE regulations. This role requires expertise in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), reconciliations, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of the General Accountant include, but are not limited to:
Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare and analyze financial statements.
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and expense tracking.
Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and financial forecasting.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial records and reports.
Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Experience: Min 4 years of accounting experience in a UAE-based in construction , heavy machinery or real estate.
Language: Must be a fluent in English and Arabic.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and financial compliance.
Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
