Job Description

Join as a general assembler in our header shop on our Sub-Assembly line, where you’ll be responsible for Brazing the copper pipes & headers, cleaning pipes in a machine & operating light machinery to cut and bend pipes for air conditioner manufacturing. This role operates from 3:15pm - 11:15pm, Monday - Friday. Reporting to the Sub-Assembly Line Supervisor, this busy, hands-on role includes the following tasks:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brase and fabricate sub assembled components when cover is required
  • Operate small cutter & hand bending
  • Follow job sheets and engineering drawings
  • Demonstrate and adhere to safe work practices
  • Inspect components for quality assurance before delivery to the next department
  • Provide flexibility by working in all areas of production as needed

Qualifications

You will have experience and skillsets in the following:

  • Experience with Brazing & machines for pipe work, cutting, and bending
  • Ability to understand drawings specifying pipe length and diameter
  • Computer literacy for programming machines
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and dimensions
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices
  • Good team player with reliable attendance
