An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering and Asset Management leader to join Public Transport Services as Executive General Manager, Engineering & Asset Management, reporting to the Group Executive, Public Transport Services.

This senior role leads the engineering, maintenance and asset management function across the Council's large bus fleet, depots, workshop, and ferry network interfaces. It carries a clear mandate to accelerate the rollout of Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM), shift the balance from reactive to planned, proactive maintenance, and lift fleet reliability materially over the medium term, with real scope to shape the culture, systems and capability that underpin it across a large, geographically dispersed fleet.
About you:
You will bring senior leadership experience in Engineering, Maintenance and Asset Management within a large, multi-site operational environment, along with hands-on RCM implementation experience gained in a mobile asset environment, such as transport, rail, aviation, utilities or resources.
