Better Rehab in Canterbury is seeking a full-time on-site Occupational Therapist to join a small, supportive team working across NDIS and Support at Home with a diverse caseload that includes activities of daily living, capacity building, assistive technology, equipment prescription and home modifications. Joining our amazing team in Canterbury, you’ll work alongside a small, close-knit and social team that enjoys regular team lunches, monthly social outings and a highly collaborative approach across caseloads. 

We work across both the NDIS and Support at Home programs, providing clinicians with a broad and varied caseload. This allows you to develop your skills across a range of areas, including activities of daily living (ADLs), capacity building, assistive technology (AT), equipment prescription, and home modifications. You’ll have the opportunity to work with clients with diverse needs and develop practical, client-centred skills across different stages of their support journey.

Day-to-day you will:

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach
• Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.
• Innovate and Collaborate: Whether you're dealing with complex cases, exploring new treatment approaches, or facing professional challenges, you'll have a whole multidisciplinary team in your corner.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist – limited may be considered on a case by case basis 
• A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle 
• An NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willing to obtain) 
• This is an ideal role for Occupational Therapists with 1-3 years post-grad experience who want to expand their clinical skills with strong supervision and support.
