We are seeking a detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting business decisions with valuable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts.

  • Post journal entries and maintain all accounting records.

  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Generate financial reports for management and other departments.

  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit reports.

  • Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.

  • Support monthly and year-end closing activities.

  • Assist in tax return preparation (VAT, sales tax, etc.).

  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting.

  • Provide financial insights to support business functions.

  • Collaborate with other departments (AP, AR, Payroll) to resolve accounting issues.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role (Oracle experience preferred)
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle, MS Office (Excel), and financial systems
Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
