As a Global NPI Buyer at NTS, you are responsible for sourcing mechanical components for New Product Introduction projects. You work closely with engineering, project management, and commodity teams to translate technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies. With your global supplier network and commercial insight, you ensure competitive pricing, on-time delivery, and compliance with procurement standards in a dynamic, high-tech environment.
Executing RFQs for NPI projects in line with engineering specifications and approved supplier lists
Engaging with global suppliers across Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia to secure competitive offers and timely delivery
Interpreting and validating technical documentation such as drawings and BOMs to ensure accurate sourcing
Analyzing cost and price structures and contributing to cost optimization initiatives
Maintaining structured reporting on RFQ status, supplier performance, and project timelines
Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and processes
A technical degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field
5–10 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain within a technical environment
Extensive knowledge of mechanical supply chains for semiconductor and analytical markets
Strong understanding of technical product documentation (drawings, BOMs)
Experience working with global supplier networks (Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia)
Strong communication skills, structured way of working, and commercial negotiation insight
Ability to perform in a dynamic, time-to-market-driven environment
