As an Assembly Associate, you’ll be hands-on in crafting world-class boats from the ground up. You’ll use standard hand and power tools to assemble components, inspect parts and assemblies for safety and quality, and work with cross-functional teammates to keep production lines clean, safe and efficient. Crafting pontoon boats on the assembly line
You’ll bring together marine components and structures, using tools like screw guns, impact guns, caulking guns, staple guns, air ratchets and sanders to create reliable assemblies. A key part of the daily routine is reading prints and taking measurements with a tape measure to ensure each piece aligns with exact specifications. You’ll also be expected to follow the company’s Code of Conduct and Employee Handbook guidelines and to arrive with reliable transportation to the site. Safety matters here, so you’ll keep to the PPE rules and maintain a focus on working safely even in a non-air conditioned environment.
Your day includes collaborating with Team Leads, Group Leaders, Supervisors and other shop colleagues to meet daily targets while maintaining quality and minimizing defects. You’ll take part in ongoing training programs designed to broaden your manufacturing skill set and help you grow within Godfrey Marine.
