TikTok’s Government Relations and Public Policy team is seeking an experienced public policy professional to focus on the policy and regulatory frameworks underpinning our monetisation activities in the UK. You will monitor and analyse developments in advertising regulation, consumer protection, product policy, e-commerce and fraud; develop and advocate policy positions through briefings, responses and regulator engagement; provide strategic risk and opportunity advice to internal stakeholders; and build enduring relationships with policymakers, regulators, trade associations and industry partners while representing TikTok in external forums. To apply, tailor your CV to UK policy work, show measurable monetisation wins, demonstrate cross‑functional collaboration, and highlight clear, concise communication and stakeholder management.

The Government Relations and Public Policy team covers a wide range of responsibilities: government affairs and government relations; policy and issue area expertise; risk and crisis management and mitigation; outreach, coalitions, and partnerships. The mission of the team is to prevent, manage, and mitigate political, legislative, and regulatory threats to TikTok, and to promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for our business.

We are looking for an experienced public policy professional to join our UK team, with a focus on the policy and regulatory frameworks that underpin TikTok’s revenue streams.

In this role, you will:
- Lead monitoring and analysis of UK policy and legislative developments related to advertising regulation, consumer protection, product policy, e-commerce, fraud, and related economic policy areas;
- Develop, articulate, and advocate TikTok’s policy positions through briefings, consultation responses, and engagement with policymakers and regulators;
- Provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders on regulatory risks and opportunities related to TikTok’s monetisation activities;
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with policymakers, regulators, trade associations, and industry partners in relevant policy areas;
- Represent TikTok in trade associations and external forums, and manage relationships with relevant industry bodies;
- Support the execution of engagement strategies with political stakeholders, ensuring policy expertise is paired with effective relationship management;
- Work collaboratively with legal, product, communications, and regional policy teams to ensure alignment between policy strategy and business objectives.
