An onsite full-time GP Dentist role at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi seeks a patient-focused clinician who can examine and treat patients of all ages, deliver preventative and restorative care including cleanings, root canals, extractions, implants and cosmetic dentistry, and educate patients on oral health. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in a private hospital setting in a specialised department, holds a UAE-recognised basic degree plus a diploma or recognised specialty, and maintains active life support certifications (BLS ACLS PALS). • Examining the dental and oral health of patients of all ages and administering treatment accordingly.

• Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health.

• Diagnosing, treating and providing appropriate preventative and restorative care for problems that affect their patients’ mouth and teeth, and as well as dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants and cosmetic dentistry.

• Educating their patients regarding the best oral health habits.

• Identifies and understands the needs and expectations of clients in a professional manner, and shares with relevant team members.

• Continuously builds and shares knowledge to deliver expert service within own scope of work, drawing on expertise of others as needed, and shares knowledge.

• Responds to client complaints in a timely and effective manner and provides feedback on progress.

• Keeps clients up to date with relevant and accurate information and involves them in decisions that affects them.

At least 2–3 years’ experience in the relevant specialised department in a private hospital setting.

Work experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.

Basic medical degree recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.

Diploma or a training in a speciality recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.

Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
