Eco Maintenance is seeking a Greenscape Maintenance Operator in Wellington for a full-time onsite role from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday with occasional overtime. You will join a team maintaining clients’ green spaces and perform weed eating, spraying and scrub cutting, plus cleaning gear and the vehicle fleet after use. The ideal candidate has experience in weed eating, gardening or section clearing, holds a full Class 1 license with manual driving ability (Class 2 is a bonus), and knowledge of vegetation control equipment; fitness and a solid health and safety mindset are essential, with a GrowSafe certificate advantageous. About the role

You will be part of a team maintaining our clients’ green spaces.

Tasks will be varied and will include:

• Weed eating,
• Spraying and scrub cutting,
• Cleaning of gear and equipment including vehicle fleet after use.

Hours of work will be 7.30 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday with overtime when required.

About you

The successful person will have:

• Previous experience in one or more of weed-eating, gardening or section clearing,
• Full Class 1 drivers licence essential and ability to drive a manual vehicle, class 2 is beneficial,
• Knowledge of how to operate Vegetation control equipment,
• Be physically fit and mobile, able to do physical work,
• Have a commitment to health and safety,
• Growsafe Certificate would be an advantage.
