Job Description

Set between lake, bush and beach on Worimi Country, Myall Shores NRMA Holiday Park offers a peaceful escape in a truly special natural environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Grounds Attendant, you’ll help maintain the park’s presentation, safety and amenity.

Your day could include:

  • Mowing, whipper snipping and general lawn care
  • Gardening, pruning, mulching and weed control
  • Rubbish collection and keeping common areas tidy
  • Assisting with minor maintenance tasks where required
  • Setting up and maintaining outdoor areas, BBQs and recreation spaces
  • Reporting hazards, damage or maintenance issues promptly
  • Helping the team prepare the park for busy arrivals and peak periods

You’ll work closely with the maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure the park consistently looks welcoming and well cared-for.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy practical outdoor work and don’t mind getting your hands dirty
  • Have experience in groundskeeping, gardening, landscaping or general maintenance (holiday parks, resorts, council, or similar)
  • Can confidently and safely use tools and equipment such as mowers and whipper snippers (training provided where required)
  • Are safety-conscious and follow WHS guidelines
  • Are reliable, punctual and able to work without constant supervision
  • Are physically fit and comfortable working on your feet in varied weather
  • Are available for weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods

A driver’s licence and any relevant tickets/qualifications (e.g. chemical handling, chainsaw) are an advantage but not essential.
