Green By Nature is hiring a full-time Groundsperson / Garden Labourer to serve Pymble and the Northern Beaches. The role requires a strong work ethic and horticultural experience, with stamina for outdoor work in all weather. Duties include hedging, weeding, pruning, planting and mulching, safe operation of hand tools and petrol gear, loading and unloading materials, and keeping sites tidy. You must lift heavy objects and work well in a safety-first environment. A police check is required, as are white card and working with children checks or willingness to obtain them; a driver’s licence is highly regarded. About You

You have a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards. Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field will be highly regarded.

This role can be physically demanding and you must have the ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Your ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team will help you to be successful in this role.

You have, or are willing to obtain, a white card and working with children check. The successful candidate will be asked to undertake a national police check.

Although not absolutely necessary, if you have a current drivers licence it would be highly regarded

About the Role

We are looking for a garden labourer/grounds person to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance. This hands-on role will be part of a mobile team servicing some great client sites around the Pymble and Northern Beaches area. We are looking for someone with physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Responsibilities

• Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching.
• Operate hand tools such as hedgers, blowers and whipper snippers and petrol gear such as push mowers and ride on plant equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
