What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Consolidation & Reporting Analyst to join our team based in Geneva. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of the Group’s consolidated financial statements. With hands-on experience in Tagetik, the role supports end-to-end consolidation cycles under IFRS and contributes to improving reporting processes.

What do we expect from the candidate?

The Senior Consolidation Analyst plays a key role in producing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of the Group’s consolidated financial statements. With hands-on experience in Tagetik, the role supports end-to-end consolidation cycles under IFRS and contributes to improving reporting processes.

The key responsibilities:

Consolidation & Financial Closing:

•Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes under IFRS.

•Review, challenge, and validate reporting packages submitted by subsidiaries.

•Perform consolidation entries including scope variations, intercompany reconciliations, and IFRS adjustments.

•Prepare consolidated financial statements.

•Support external auditors during interim and year-end audits.

Group Reporting & Performance Analysis:

•Support the Senior FP&A on the monthly and quarterly management reporting/consolidation.

•Problem solver on the consolidation and at entity level.

•Control & maintain KPIs, dashboards, and group-level analytical reports.

Tagetik Expertise or consolidation Systems (Mandatory for the Role):

•Act as key user or super user of Tagetik Group Consolidation.

•Maintain consolidation models, workflows, mapping tables, and validation rules.

•Review & improve the Financial Statement Closing Process.

•Drive continuous improvement of the consolidation system.

•Provide training and support to local finance teams on Tagetik usage.

•Collaborate with IT on system upgrades, data governance, and interfaces.

Internal Control, Compliance & Quality Assurance:

•Strengthen the Group’s financial control framework.

•Contribute documentation and updates of accounting manuals and reporting guidelines.

•Ensure subsidiaries comply with Group accounting policies and closing deadlines.

•Develop and implement new controls within Tagetik to improve data reliability.

Projects & Finance Transformation:

•Participate in cross-functional projects such as integration of new entities, finance process harmonization, and implementation of IFRS updates.

•Lead improvements to consolidation timetables and workflows.

If you possess…

Must-Have:

•Experience: 5+ years in group consolidation, audit (Big 4), or financial reporting. Significant involvement in consolidation cycles for a multinational group.

•Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Controlling. Strong knowledge of IFRS (practical experience preferred).

•Technical Knowledge: Advanced Tagetik knowledge or consolidation tools (Consolidation module). Strong accounting and consolidation fundamentals.

•Skills: Strong IT and financial analytical skills. The “Go To Person” for stakeholders needing help to extract data from any ERP / BI system.

Nice-to-Have:

•Diplomas: Graduate Qualified Accountant.

•BI Experience: Experience of developing and managing a BI Data Warehouse.
