THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you will lead the Eligibility and Dispute Resolution teams, driving strong performance and capability while delivering high‑quality stakeholder engagement, sound decision‑making, and sustainable claims outcomes.

This is a critical leadership role, supporting the achievement of organisational objectives and contractual requirements through the delivery of superior claims management services. Success in this role will be underpinned by your ability to build strong internal and external relationships, drive positive outcomes, and enhance the organisation’s reputation.

This is a permanent, full‑time position based in our Melbourne office, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.
 

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction, performance, and long‑term sustainability of the Eligibility and Dispute Resolution teams.

  • Develop, implement, and forecast operational plans aligned to organisational objectives.

  • Oversee a scalable, efficient, collaborative, and customer‑centric operating model.

  • Identify and evaluate individual and organisational capability and development needs.

  • Design and deliver individual and group learning and development initiatives.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, maintaining awareness of industry trends and responding effectively to change.

  • Monitor internal service level standards and provide feedback to support consistent, high‑quality outcomes.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a fast‑paced business environment.

  • Extensive experience within the Workers’ Compensation Insurance industry.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across business units to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the personal injury industry, including relevant legislation, contractual obligations, and service requirements.
