Job Summary

 

We are currently seeking a motivated and bilingual Sales Representative to grow and support our customer base across the Maritimes Provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador).

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, traveling extensively, and representing a respected manufacturer in the construction and landscape products industry.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, dealers, distributors, and customers throughout the Maritimes;
  • Promote and sell Oldcastle / Permacon products to existing and prospective clients;
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in the region;
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations;
  • Attend weekend home shows and industry events as a company representative;
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer updates using computer-based tools and CRM systems;
  • Travel throughout the Maritimes, including overnight stays away from home as required;
  • Participate in training sessions in Quebec and Ontario.

 

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

 

  • Bilingual in both English and French (required);
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (required);
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing, construction, building materials, or a related industry;
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales reporting tools;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills;
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently;
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Maritimes, including overnight travel and weekend home shows;

 

Job compensation/Benefits

 

  • Annual base salary from 60 000 $ to 80 000 $, negotiable based on experience, plus commission;
