WSAudiology Americas is hiring in Chula Vista, California, for a Hearing Care Provider to join HearUSA as part of a global network. The role is full-time and onsite, designed for someone who loves working directly with patients to improve their hearing and quality of life. HearUSA sits within the larger WSA group, a world-wide team of professionals aiming to raise the standard of modern hearing care. If you enjoy hands-on patient care, clear communication, and helping people reconnect with sound, this could be a strong fit.

HearUSA operates across the United States with more than 350 centers and collaborates with around 4,000 independent Hearing Care Professionals. The broader WSA family spans 130 countries and totals more than 12,000 colleagues, all focused on unlocking human potential through better hearing. The company is committed to growth, development, and making a tangible impact in communities.

In this position, you’ll work closely with patients in an on-site center, bringing a practical, patient-first approach to hearing health. You’ll be joining a culture that values going beyond what’s expected and making a real difference in people’s lives every day.

Your daily impact in hearing health

On a typical day, you’ll conduct thorough hearing evaluations and guide clients through selecting and fitting hearing aids, following a client-centric model designed for Simply Excellent Hearing Care. You’ll also demonstrate hearing aids during annual checks to create a memorable, personalized experience. Interpreting test results alongside a client needs assessment will help you tailor recommendations that maximise benefit for each person.

You’ll handle routine follow-ups, perform cleanings and checks, and support repairs as needed. The role also calls for ear impression taking, earmold modification, and advising on ALD accessories, keeping your hands and knowledge up to date across current technologies. You’ll partner with the district manager, team leads, and learning and development to adopt new initiatives aimed at growing the center’s reach and helping more people hear better.

Part of your week will involve building a local community through outreach activities and physician marketing, with a goal of at least one community outreach and/or physician marketing initiative per quarter. You’ll operate in a HIPAA-compliant fashion, document outcomes, and ensure referrals are completed for every client, while staying aligned with state license laws, FDA guidelines, and HearUSA Quality Practice Guidelines. Ongoing professional development will keep your expertise strong in everything from counseling to selling, fitting, and troubleshooting current hearing aid technology.

What you bring to the chair

  • Experience in a role similar to audiology or hearing aid specialist.

  • Active state licensure in Audiology and/or hearing aid dispensing.

  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in your work.

  • Solid written communication abilities, at any level.

  • Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service setting.

  • Ability to explain detailed or technical information clearly, accurately, and concisely.

  • Capability to work quickly, accurately, and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have edge

  • Hands-on experience taking ear impressions, modifying earmolds, and recommending ALD accessories.

  • Background in community outreach or physician marketing initiatives.

  • Willingness to engage in continuing education with licensing reimbursements.

  • Comfort collaborating with district leaders and training teams to implement new initiatives.

Advice for applicants

Lead your resume with your relevant audiology or hearing aid experience, putting the most closely related roles at the top so the readers see your fit right away.

When you describe your must-have skills, back them up with concrete examples: a time you explained a technical hearing result to a client, or a situation where you achieved a precise, accurate outcome under pressure.

Be ready to talk about working in fast-paced settings and how you maintain attention to detail while delivering compassionate patient care. Have a concise story ready about how you handled a challenging client interaction or a complex fitting scenario.

Ask a pointed question that shows you’re thinking about long-term impact, such as how the center collaborates with the regional training team to roll out new initiatives and what growth opportunities exist within Hearing Care Provider leadership tracks.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and values a constructive, inclusive workplace that supports professional development and meaningful patient outcomes.
